Trainwreck star said she could not believe she was told this when she took her first step into a career in the movie industry, reported Female First.
"At my first audition when I was 21, they were like, 'You should either lose weight or gain a bunch of weight, like be the fat friend or the romantic lead.' Can you believe they said this?

We put pressure on ourselves and hold ourselves to this unrealistic standard," she said.

The Times of India Entertainment Schumer said she ignores Twitter trolls and thinks people should not have to live up to people's "unrealistic standard" when it comes to weight.
"I want to throw my hands in the air after reading a mean Twitter comment and say, 'Alright! You got it. You figured me out.
"I'm not pretty. I'm not thin. I do not deserve to use my voice... All my self-worth is based on what you can see. But then I think (ignore)," Schumer said.
