Shia LaBeouf disses his own movie in online video

A video has emerged online showing Shia LaBeouf performing a rap in which he compares himself to late hip-hop star Tupac Shakur and takes a swipe at his hit film Transformers.

The footage shows the 29-year-old shirtless and surrounded by a small group of onlookers. In the rap, he says, “You can’t really f*** with this, dog, I’m the best in the West and s**t /If you could give me this shoe, yo, you know the shoe fits and this dude do spew s**t and the s**t’s sick /Oh s**t, best to do this since Tupac was doing music /Yes sir, this kid still spew this sick s**t, though.” When one of the onlookers mentions LaBeouf’s blockbuster action film Transformers in an unrelated context, the actor responds, “Nah, none of that.Transformers is the dummy rap and I’m so past that.”

It is unclear when the footage was filmed as the clip appears to show LaBeouf without the injury he sustained while filming his latest movie American Honey in North Dakota recently. He reportedly received 20 stitches and 12 staples in his head and finger after he crashed through a glass window during a stunt for that particular movie.
