Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli at World Cup: Twitter reacts

Cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar has found himself at the receiving end. During the IPL match between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders, Gavaskar asked Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli “is she here”? He was clearly asking about Anushka Sharma and during the toss, Virat replied, “Yes she would be.” But this did not seem to go well with people who took to micro-blogging site Twitter to express their concern over the question asked by Gavaskar. There were many tweets ranging from anger to disbelief. Anushka recently performed at the IPL opening ceremony and beau Virat Kohli has been vocal about his feelings for her.

Virat Kohli recently expressed his love for Anushka Sharma on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, after watching her film NH10. Anushka Sharma was present in Australia to cheer for Virat during the semi-final game where India took on the Aussies. However when the Indian vice-captain went out to bat, he could not score more than just a single run and immediately after Twitter was flooded with feeds blaming Anushka for Virat's poor performance. While the actress was a mere spectator just like the rest of the country, she is unfortunately being ridiculed on the social networking site for being present during the match. However, she has also received support from her fans in the form of tweets.
