Actor Shilpa Shetty, whose svelte figure draws a lot of admiring glances, refuses to be dubbed as beautiful. On a visit to Varanasi for the opening of a wellness boutique, the actor said, “I don’t consider myself beautiful. For me, to remain happy is more important, and in fact, I feel beautiful from inside only when I am happy.” The actor-turned-entrepreneur, is enjoying the latest job on hand – that of mothering Viaan.
“When people question me about my absence from the silver screen, little do they realise that I am a full time mother and parttime professional now. I have my hands full and I don’t want to miss any moment of my son’s growing up years,” said Shilpa.

Rajasthan Royals (RR), Shilpa said, “We will decide that once the bidding is over. I feel happy that we (RR) have been able to give a platform to lot of new talent like Sanju Samson, Yousuf Pathan and
Stuart Binny, to name a few.”
She added that the spot fixing controversy involving players of her team was an unfortunate thing to happen. “It was a lesson for players who are unable to draw the line between their ambition and the temptation that this game provides. Last season’s incident was an example of this,” she said candidly.
With the country already buzzing with political activity on account of the upcoming General Elections, and lot of stars being roped in for canvassing by different political parties, we asked if Shilpa was going to go that way too. The actress clarified that politics is not her cup of tea.
“Mujhe film karne ka time toh hai nahi, politics toh bahut door ki baat hai,” she added.
