Satish Kaushik directs a ghost comedy

Satish Kaushik’s next directorial venture, Gang Of Ghosts, will be a mix of horror and humour. The film is a remake of the Bangla flick Bhooter Bhabishyat. Producer Ratan Jain, says “Satish has tweaked the original and made it in a new light. He was a natural choice, given his vast experience as an actor, writer and director.
We are planning more ventures together.” Satish says, “I found the Bengali venture not only entertaining, but also socially relevant.I have kept the basic ethos of Bhooter Bhabishyat intact, but have adapted its humour and sensibilities to cater to a pan-Indian audience.” The film stars Sharman Joshi, Mahie Gill, Meera Chopra, Vijay Varma, Anupam Kher, Parambrata Chatterjee, Saurabh Shukla, Chunky Panday, Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav, among others.
Gang Of Ghosts, produced by Venus Records and Tapes and The Satish Kaushik Entertainment, releases today.
