Rakhi Sawant is an honest woman: Mahesh Manjrekar

Actor and director Mahesh Manjrekar, in a recent interview, praised actress Rakhi Sawant, who is contesting from his constituency. The actor and director, in an interview to a daily, said, "I will ask people to vote for me only if they think I deserve to be the leader. Compare me with other politicians but be fair. Everyone has the right to contest. Rakhi has been very honest about everything. She is a self-made woman. If she feels that she can deliver, she is open to contest." Both the actors are contesting Lok Sabha elections from the Mumbai North-West constituency. While Rakhi is busy with her first Marathi production, Mahesh has been busy with his Hindi film, starring Salman Khan.
