Tisca Chopra to act in a Marathi film

After winning accolades for her performance in Hindi films like 'Taare Zameen Par' and 'Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji', actress Tisca Chopra will now be seen in a Marathi film 'Highway'.
To be directed by Umesh Kulkarni, the film will have Girish Kulkarni as the male lead. Girish, who has also written the story of the film, said, "Tisca will be essaying a very strong female character in the film and it is a very challenging and different role."
Tisca on her part said, "I met Umesh when I was in Pune and am just in awe of the person.His level of thinking is very mature and I am ready to put everything in my life on hold for this film."
