Mani Ratnam suffers heart attack?

Contrary to the rumours, he was not hospitalised due to cardiac problems, ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam visited a private hospital in Delhi only for a master health checkup which was long overdue. It is said that Mani Ratnam and his wife Suhasini were holidaying in Delhi and the acclaimed director decided to get the check up done in in Delhi to avoid Chennai public eye.Putting rumours to rest, early today, Mani Ratnam's wife Suhasini also tweeted a picture of herself with her husband providing proof that the acclaimed director is hale and healthy. In 2004 and 2009, Ratnam had suffered minor heart attacks while working on films 'Yuva' and 'Raavan'. In his over two-decade long career, he's known for successful films such as Nayagana, Mounaragam, Dil Se, Bombay and Guru.
