Ever saw a baby crawl? If you keenly watch his movement, the right hand corresponds with the left leg. Now if you try crawling, you will realize that bringing the contra-lateral movement (opposite limbs coordination) is a challenge for most of us since our lifestyle has moved us away from the natural form. This is where crawling workouts come into play. They help us realign the fundamental movements into our fitness routine. Kamal Chitkara from Reebok Crossfit Robust tells you crawling techniques that will help you lose weight…

Inch-worm
Inch-worm crawl

To do an inchworm, stand on your feet. Hinge from your hips and walk your hands in front of you as far as you can. Once you are in an extended plank position, walk back to your feet. This is a great dynamic move that can also be done for warm up.
