Rahul Sharma: Very difficult to spare time for my family

Rajasthani boy Rahul Sharma has finally arrived as an actor on TV. The young lad from Rajasthan’s Dausa is enjoying playing the role of Raghav Roy in the show Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi. This year the actor could manage only a day to spend his Diwali with his family in his hometown. “I had a great day with my entire family. I also met so many people. It was an emotional moment which I can’t describe in words,” shared Rahul before leaving for Mumbai.
Rahul, who moved to Mumbai to try his luck in acting, has been planning to come to Rajasthan since long. “Due to hectic shooting schedules, I am not able to manage a long break. I have been planning to visit my parents for a long time. It’s very difficult to spare time for your family when you get busy in shoots. But, whenever possible, I would like to go for a long vacation with my family. This is the only way I can enjoy my time with my parents and other family members.”

The actor said that while working on television is quite tiring but, at the same time, this is also a learning experience. Talking about his recently launched show Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi, in which he is playing the lead protagonist, Rahul said, “I love taking up challenging roles that allow me the required scope to prove my potential as an actor. My role in the new show is completely different from the previous ones that I have played. Here, I am playing a city lad, who is calm, composed and charming, too.
Rahul is an adventure freak and enjoys sports like bungee jumping, scuba diving and sky diving. Asked if has plans to go for any adventure in the near future, the actor said, “Not yet, but I will definitely like to go to Ladakh as I love nature, and then to Europe where I plan to spend some time with my sister Purnima. It’s been three years since I have been toying with the idea. Hopefully, when this show gets over, I will go and visit her in Frankfurt.”
