Vikrant Massey makes a return to Qubool Hai

Vikrant Massey, the new Ayaan in Qubool Hai, quit the show in November, last year. Mohit Sehgal was then roped in to fill in. While it was rumoured that Vikrant quit the show for a movie, the actor was advised rest after hurting his tailbone.
He told us, “The movie I was to start shooting, has been pushed on the backburner, but I’ll take a break from the show to shoot for other projects.I don’t know if I am returning to the show or not.”
However, the channel and the production house now want him back in the show. Says a source, “The show had many parallel tracks and Ayaan’s had taken a backseat. Also, Vikrant genuinely needed some time off to recuperate. But now, we feel the time is right to bring him back. His entry will give birth to a love triangle between him, Ketki Kadam (Humeira) and Mohit.” However, Vikrant says, “But yes, Ayaan being an integral part of the show, will definitely return. Only the time frame needs to be worked out.”
