Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji written update April 20, 2017: Kanak goes out to know the truth behind Kanak sweet shop

Bhabho tells everyone how much she loves the sweet shop and that it is the last thing left of his son Sooraj and daughter-in-law Sandhya. Vansh walks up to Bhabho and tells her that there are several other things to take care of, and that she should now stop thinking about Kanak sweet shop.
Kanak stands there and thinks about why Bhabho signed on those papers when she was so attached with the shop.She senses something fishy going on and decides to know the truth behind it.
Meanwhile, Uma Shankar thinks of Kanak on his way back home. He thinks that had he stayed in Pushkar a little longer, he would have met her.

Back in Pushkar, Ved and Vansh decide to sell off the Kanak sweet shop as it would keep bothering Bhabho. Kanak overhears their conversation and decides to save the shop for her grandmother.
Babasa tries convincing Bhabho to sell off the shop, but the latter is stubborn to keep it and says that it is like a temple for her.
Payal reaches Uma Shankar's home where she is greeted by his younger sister Suman who introduces her to her elder sister Saraswati. She also meets their Palami, whom she thinks to be Uma Shankar's wife.
