Man gets lifer for murder of wife

VISAKHAPATNAM: The sixth additional district judge and mahila court judge Moka Suvarna Raju on Monday sentenced one Somili Siva Prasad to life in prison and slapped a fine of 1,000 for killing his wife Sampathi Bhanumati at Urlametta village under G Madugula Mandal in ASR district in August 2021.
Police said that Siva killed his wife suspecting infidelity. A case was filed and he was sent to judicial remand. The cops collected all the evidence and filed a charge sheet in the court. Public prosecutor M Sailaja argued on behalf of the State. Later, the judge convicted Siva.
