A bond beyond films

In
an industry where insecurity is in abundance, James Vasanthan seems to be an
exception.
The composer was initially supposed to work on Pandiraj���������s forthcoming Marina. The director had even informed us earlier that he will be teaming up again with James, who composed for his debut, Pasanga.
However, now, Pandiraj has signed up a new music director, Krish, to compose for the film. And, it was James who encouraged the filmmaker to go ahead with this change.
���������Initially, James sir and I had talked about the music of Marina. But then, I came across Krish, who has composed for international documentaries. I felt that his music would be perfect for Marina and so, I went ahead and told the same to James sir. Instead of getting upset, he magnanimously gave the go ahead and said that as a director, I should do what I feel is right,��������� says the director. He adds, ���������Though we might not be working on this film, James sir and I are still discussing about films in general. In fact, we will be teaming up for my next film.���������
