Rumgong Assembly Election Result 2024: BJP's Talem Taboh wins

NEW DELHI: Talem Taboh from BJP won the election from Rumgong in Arunachal Pradesh state assembly elections.
Rumgong Legislative Assembly constituency is one of the 60 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Arunachal Pradesh.
Rumgong is a small village and a part of the Siang District. This constituency went into polling on April 19 of the State Assembly elections, 2024. It is reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes.
Prominent candidates of the 2024 assembly elections include Taja Bonung (National People's Party), Talem Taboh (BJP), Tahan Mibang (NCP) and Taling Yaying (INC).
In the previous 2019 Arunachal Pradesh assembly elections, The voter turnout for the Rumgong Assembly constituency elections was around 81%. Talem Taboh (JD(U)) emerged victorious.
