Jhuriwala crisis makes it to Cong’s Pkl manifesto
Panchkula: Former Haryana deputy chief Minister and four-time MLA Chander Mohan on Wednesday presented his manifesto to the people of Panchkula. In his manifesto, Chander Mohan highlighted key issues such as providing a permanent solution to the dumping ground in Sector 23 and shifting of Jhuriwala dumping site, granting tubewell connections to farmers for electricity, constructing a 100-bed multi-speciality hospital in Barwala, eradicating menace of flies from the Barwala block, and addressing the issue of stray animals in Panchkula.
Apart from mentioning issues about the Panchkula constituency, Chander Mohan also stressed upon guarantees given by the Congress for the state of Haryana.
He also made a list of works in his manifesto that include garbage processing units to be set up outside residential areas, and water supply to be streamlined, and roads and lanes be improved, sports parks will be created in every village, and an international stadium will be built to encourage children to participate in sports.
.New alternate routes will be developed to ensure smooth flow of traffic between Chandigarh and Panchkula. Liquor shops will be moved out of residential areas and efforts will be made to cancel the enhancement charges demanded by HSVP, he added.
