Boy breaks piggy bank to donate 5,000 to flood-hit

Mohali: All of 12, Damanpreet Singh, a resident of Rishi Apartments, Sector 70, decided to mobilise his resources to help the flood-hit. The boy donated his life savings of Rs 5,000, kept in a piggy bank, for relief efforts. "Seeing the pain and suffering of flood victims, I felt even my little help could offer support to a family in distress," Damanpreet said.
