R K Laxman responding well to treatment

MUMBAI: Eminent cartoonist R K Laxman,
who is undergoing treatment at the Breach Candy Hospital here for a paralytic
stroke, is "responding well to the treatment", family sources said on
Tuesday.
Octogenarian Laxman was shifted from a Pune hospital to Mumbai last night after he expressed a desire to be closer to his family, living in the city.
"His progress has been satisfactory and he is continuing with his physiotherapy sessions. His hand has shown slight improvement," the sources said adding that he has been put on a regular diet.
