Vodafone upgrades its SuperNet 4G network in Delhi-NCR region
NEW DELHI: Leading telecom operator Vodafone India has upgraded its network to make its 4G LTE services (both voice and data) better in the Delhi-NCR region. The telco has made an investment of Rs 1,000 crore to deploy 15,000 sites in the Delhi-NCR circle.
Vodafone SuperNet 4G is available across all major work, educational, recreational and Administrative hubs in Delhi NCR including Gurgaon, Dwarka, Airport, Delhi Cantt, Vasant Vihar, Lajpat Nagar, AIIMS, Dhaula Kuan, South Ex, Azadpur, Naraina, Rajouri Garden, Punjabi Bagh, Wazir Pur, Patel Nagar, CP, Peeragarhi, Okhla, Sarita Vihar, Nehru Place and IIT Delhi.
The telecom operator plans to bring the entire Delhi-NCR region under its 4G services in the coming 6-8 weeks. It will be soon rolling out 4G services in Noida and Ghaziabad as well.

Vodafone challenges special audit order: HC seeks IT reply

The Delhi high court has sought a reply from the the Income Tax Department after Vodafone challenged an order from the department directing special audit of its accounts for the assessment year 2012-13.

Major telecom operators have been steadily expanding their 4G networks lately, with Airtel launching its 4G services across Delhi-NCR region and Reliance expected to unveil Jio soon.
Vodafone India seems to be banking upon its existing consumer base of over 1 crore and improved network coverage to expand its reach further.


BSNL to sign 2G roaming pact with Jio, Vodafone this month

Under the agreement, customers of Reliance Jio and Vodafone will get access to BSNL network where there is a coverage gap.
