Album: Sillu KaruppattiComposer: Pradeep Kumar
Music Review: The album of Halitha Shameem’s anthology Sillu Karuppatti only has one song. But composer and singer Pradeep Kumar puts his all in Agam Thaanai, which bursts with originality. The sweet-sounding ballad begins with a hint of accordion. Pradeep and Subiksha Rangarajan’s vocals crisply paired with stunning orchestra, stands out in the song.
The ensemble, starring Samuthirakani, Sunainaa, Leela Samson, Manikandan, Sara Arjun, Nivedhitha Sathish, Kravmaga Sreeram and Rahul, explores four different love stories, spread across different backgrounds, milieus and age groups. Love and spark are in the air in the film, and it definitely is in the song, too.
