Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra has lent her superstardom to back a global gender equality movement. The actress is one among the many influential female personalities who will be a part of a virtual summit.
Taking to her social media handles the star shared her excitement about the same in a note that read, “No matter their background, girls have the power to transform themselves, their communities, and the world around them. @GirlUpcampaign is a global gender equality movement teaching girls to lead TODAY.”
She went on to add, “Remember, when girls rise, we all rise!”
Besides the actress, former First Lady Michelle Obama, Meghan Markle, 2018 Nobel Peace Prize winner Nadia Murad, actor Jameela Jamil, singer Bebe Rexha among many others are on the panel.
On the work front, Priyanka has a list of interesting American television projects set to roll out shortly.
