Naveen Chandra is all set to debut in Kannada soon with the bilingual film Thaggedele. The actor feels confident that his role – that of a mysterious man called Shekar – will keep the audience hooked. “A murder investigation sees the police and the infamous Dandupalya gang cross paths,” he explains, adding, “But in the midst of it all is my character, someone whose motive can never be predicted. Whether he’s innocent or guilty is something that needs to be seen.”

Naveen calls the film a ‘masala thriller’ and states that it will keep the audience on the edge of their seats. “There’ll be a twist every few minutes that’ll keep the viewers guessing. The film has a little bit of everything from love and lust to vengeance. My scenes with Ananya Raj and Divya Pillai will be ones to watch out for,” he adds.

Helmed by Bhadra Productions, the Srinivas Raju directorial is hitting screens in Telugu on November 4 and in Kannada as Hubli Dhaba on November 11. Talking about why Naveen is perfect for the role, the director says, “We wanted someone who could pull off being loveable yet suspicious at the same time, and he was the perfect fit.”
