Mercedes-Benz today delivered the first unit of the AMG GT Black Series in India to Boopesh Reddy, a supercar enthusiast. The brand has only allotted 2 units of GT Black Series for India.
The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is priced at Rs 5.50 crore (ex-showroom, India), based on individual configurations. The fastest series production car makes use of a AMG V8 engine that cranks out a peak power of 730 hp @6,700-6,900 rpm and a max torque of 800 Nm @ 2,000-6,000 rpm.
A 7-speed AMG Speedshift DCT 7G dual-clutch unit is on offer.

Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series
The two-door supercar accelerates from 0-100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds and 0-200 kmph in under 9 seconds. The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series has a top speed of 325 kmph.
Coming on to the exterior, the GT Black Series gets a larger front apron with carbon-fibre material used in the front diffuser, bonnet with two big air outlets, front wings and roof. Moreover, the track-focused AMG GT Black Series receives a large rear spoiler and redesigned bonnet and bumper.
The supercar sits on standard AMG 10-spoke matt black-finished forged wheels, including 19-inch at the front and 20-inch at the rear.
On the interior front, the supercar features Dinamica microfibre in black along with orange top-stitching for contrast as well as matte-black carbon-fibre trim, standard AMG carbon-fibre bucket seats, Black Series lettering on a steering wheel and AMG interior night package amongst others.
The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series gets AMG coil-over suspension with AMG Ride control, anti-roll bars, ceramic brakes and manually-adjustable camber. The new GT Black Series is available in two colour options - High-Tech Silver Metallic and AMG Magma Beam.
