The safety features could include multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control and a reverse parking camera.

The new Scorpio could make use of the Thar’s 2-litre Stallion turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre mHawk turbo-diesel powertrains, albeit in a different state of tune. The former produces 150 PS, while the latter puts out 130 PS on the

The electrified version of the KUV100 NXT has been in the pipeline for a pretty long time now, but a launch could now actually take place by the end of this year. Upon arrival, the eKUV100 could go on to become the most affordable electric car in the Indian market.

The eKUV100 was originally showcased in a near-production form at the 2018

Auto Expo

, while the company then went on to display the production-ready version of the affordable EV at the 2020 Auto Expo. The car has been spied on test a range of times since then, revealing some information about its styling.

XUV300 facelift

The XUV300 was originally launched in the country in February 2019, which means that the sub-compact SUV has completed over three years in the market and that the car is ready for a mid-life refresh. The XUV300 facelift could make a debut by the end of this year, with test mules already being spotted in the country. Apart from the styling updates to make it look more modern, the XUV300 could actually get a new more powerful turbo-petrol engine.

concepts

Earlier this year, Mahindra showcased its ‘

Born Electric Vision

’ range, previewing three fully-electric SUV concepts. The carmaker also went on to tease the interior of the upcoming SUVs, which is set to be designed by UK-based MADE (Mahindra Advance Design Europe) division, headed by

.

The three products comprise a compact SUV, a midsize SUV and an SUV coupe, which could be based on the XUV300, XUV700, and the upcoming XUV900 respectively. The teaser video released by Mahindra highlights a distinctive C-shaped LED lighting design at the front as well as rear on all three concepts, however, with subtle differences. Inside the cabin, the concept cars feature the AdrenoX-like dual infotainment screens similar to the XUV700, with a wrap-around design around the driver. Mahindra has confirmed that the Born Vision Electric concepts will be debuted in July this year.
