MG Motor India today launched the 2023 ZS EV with Autonomous Level-2 (ADAS) at Rs 27.89 lakh (ex-showroom), valid for a limited time. According to the official statement, the MG ZS EV's Autonomous Level 2 (ADAS) technology will work on three levels of sensitivity – Low, Medium and High, and three levels of warning – haptic, audio, and visual. The 2023 MG ZS EV will be available in four colour options - Glaze Red, Aurora Silver, Starry Black, and Candy White.
The safety suite of the 2023 MG ZS EV now consists of ADAS-2 features, such as Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Speed Assist System (SAS) alerts, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Functions. Other notable safety features include a 360-degree camera with rear parking sensors, Hill Descent Control (HDC), six airbags (dual, front, side, and curtain), Electronic Stability Control, Hill-Start Assist, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

MG ZS EV is equipped with all-LED Hawkeye headlamps and tail-lamps, and 17-inch Tomahawk alloy wheels. The SUV is available in three variants - Excite, Exclusive and Exclusive Pro. Built with iSMART next-gen technology, the ZS EV gets a host of interior features, such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7.0-inch fully-digital instrument cluster, 75+ connected car features and a digital key. Furthermore, the electric SUV has 100+ Voice Recognition commands to control various features like sunroof, AC, music, navigation and more. Following a dual-tone Iconic Ivory and Dark Grey colour theme, the MG ZS EV gets rear AC vents and three drive modes - Eco, Normal and Sport.
Powering the MG ZS EV is a 50.3 kWh prismatic battery, which offers a claimed driving range of 461 km per charge. MG is offering the battery with an 8-year warranty. The electric motor delivers a peak power of 173 hp and accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 8.5 seconds.
MG ZS EV can be charged through six charging solutions, such as DC Super-Fast Chargers at dealerships, AC Fast Chargers which can be installed at homes and offices by MG, a plug-and-charge cable onboard, charge-on-the-go with RSA (Roadside Assistance), and community chargers, says the official statement.
