With a dominant win at the 2023 Formula One Canadian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen has now made it six victories from eight races this season.

With a dominant win at the 2023 Formula One Canadian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen has now made it six victories from eight races this season. The reigning World Champion shared the podium with Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso, and Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton on second and third respectively. This makes it Verstappen's second consecutive win around the 4.361 km long Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
Red Bull Racing has maintained their 100% winning record this season, while this also marks the team's 100th victory in its 18 year history in F1.Moreover, a win at the Canadian GP means that Max Verstappen has now equaled legendary Ayrton Senna's record of 41 victories in Formula One.

Podium finishers Alonso and Hamilton traded places on multiple occasions throughout the race, with the Mercedes driver getting the jump at the start but falling back behind as the race unfolded, which led the Spaniard to clinch his sixth podium finish this year. Despite starting from fourth, George Russell missed out on a potential podium fight after an early crash caused major damage to his car and dropped him to the back of the grid.

Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz managed to take P4 and P5 respectively. The Ferrari drivers were followed by Red Bull's Sergio Perez in sixth. Alex Albon, Esteban Ocon, Lance Stroll, and Valtteri Bottas were the remaining four point scorers at the 2023 Canadian Grand Prix. Russell and Sargeant were the only two drivers that did not finish the race.
