Ferrari's 2023 Formula 1 car 'SF-23' revealed at Maranello: Details
Scuderia Ferrari is the latest Constructor in Formula 1 to reveal its car for the 2023 season, i.e. SF-23. This makes Ferrari the 8th team to reveal its car for the next season so far after Haas, Red Bull, Williams, Alfa Romeo, AlphaTauri, Aston Martin and McLaren.
The new Ferrari SF-23 features the same iconic red-dominated livery with a few new sponsors this time around.
Ferrari’s 2023 initially was named project number ‘675’, however, the SF-23 moniker was adopted later, continuing the naming convention introduced by the team back in 2015.

The Maranello-based team finished second in the Constructors' Championship last year, over 200 points behind the Champion Red Bull Racing. However, Ferrari will be aiming to reduce its reliability issues and mismanagement under the leadership of Fred Vasseur who replaced Mattia Binotto earlier this year. The Ferrari pairing of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz has worked well for the team so far, with the two drivers finishing 2nd and 5th last year respectively in Drivers' standings.
Speaking at the Ferrari presentation, Vasseur said: “It’s always emotional for a team to do the launch. My contribution is very small on this one, but I can perfectly feel the work done on the car. I can feel that everybody is very proud of the job done and this feeling is very important for the motivation of everybody and for the season. It will be a quite long season, but the motivation is there and it’s crucial in terms of performance.”
