NEW DELHI: India Inc's plans to hire IT professionals for the next two quarters show a dip of 5 percentage points from a level six months ago as new skill sets disrupt the tech job market. The overall IT hiring outlook of Indian companies for the period between October 2019 and March 2020 stands at 47.54%, down from 53.41% in the last six months, according to Experis IT Employment Outlook Survey by ManPowerGroup.
While core tech skills still remain key for an IT professional, both IT and non-IT entities expect high cognitive skills, social intelligence and integrated thinking from tech professionals,the study said. Here's a look.
