Rising through Taj ranks, Manish Gupta is now CEO of TajSATS

NEW DELHI: Taj Hotels’ veteran Manish Gupta has been appointed as CEO of TajSATS Air Catering Limited. A JV of Indian Hotels Company’s (IHCL) and SATS, TajSATS is India’s leading airline ceterer.
Puneet Chhatwal, IHCL MD & CEO and also chairman of TajSATS, said: “This is in line with our commitment to recognise and develop talent from within the organisation.We are delighted to welcome Manish Gupta on board and believe he is best suited to take brand TajSATS to the next level. Manish will play an instrumental role in the TajSATS transformation as it expands its business and gears up for the next decade.”
Manish has over two decades of experience in India hospitality. He began his career with IHCL and donned many caps like the GM of different hotels including Jaipur’s Rambagh Palace and area director – East & General Manager – Taj Bengal, looking after the Eastern India hotels, Bhutan and Nepal. He is an Alumni of IIM Ahmedabad and Nan Yang University, Singapore.

TajSATS has over 42 years of experience in commercial aviation catering. It provides in-flight catering at Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Goa and Bangalore.
