Man suffering from prolonged illness shoots self in Etah
Agra: A 35-year-old farmer suffering from a prolonged renal illness shot himself in the stomach in Etah. According to police, Dev Singh, a resident of Nagla Khaghal, Jaitra police jurisdiction used a country-made pistol to kill himself.
Singh was the father of three daughters. Speaking to TOI, Jitendra Bhadoria, station house officer of Jaitra said, “The victim shot himself around 10 pm on Tuesday, after which he was rushed to a local hospital, where he was declared dead.”
Bhadoria added, “We are yet to recover the weapon used in the incident. A written complaint has been received from his wife Sangeeta, who said that Singh was suffering from kidney failure and was in depression.” The deceased’s body was sent for post-mortem.
