25-year-old youth electrocuted

ALLAHABAD: A 25-year-old youth was electrocuted while his father was injured after they came in contact with an electric pole under Khuldabad police station on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Chandan, a resident of Nihalpur.
It was raining on Wednesday afternoon and the father-son duo were on their way to check a choked sewer line in khuldabad when the mishap occurred.
Following the incident, the police diverted the traffic on the route to another route. Chandan's body was later sent for postmortem.
However, angry locals demanded action against the power department officials alleging that high tensions wires dangerously hang in the area.
Injured: Three persons were injured when a tempo carrying them turned turtle under Khuldabad police station. The injured persons were discharged from a hospital after first-aid, police said. The tempo driver apparently lost control over the vehicle, police said. It was raining heavily at the time of the incident.
