PRAYAGRAJ: The district unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have roped in 810 'Jansampark toli' including 416 in Phulpur and 394 in Allahabad Lok Sabha seats. These 'jansampark tolis' are assigned to cover over 5 lakh houses in both constituencies connecting with eligible voters ahead of May 25.
Party spokesman Rajesh Kesarwani told TOI, "With barely 12 days left for polling in Sangam city, the district unit of BJP has taken up extensive campaigning for party candidates for both Phulpur and Allahabad Lok Sabha candidates with an objective to cover each and every house in 10 assembly seats.
BJP tolis are connecting with eligible voters particularly first time voters, women and beneficiaries through online and offline mode and maximizing the use of all social media platforms to connect with voters".
A team of 20 active social media warriors is reaching out to all tech savvy voters in every mandal. There are a total 60 mandals in Allahabad and Phulpur. Moreover, party has also roped in around 200 social media team for each parliamentary constituency wherein all activists from ground workers to national level functionary have joined groups to discuss campaigning plans and strategies.
Kesarwani claimed "We aim to connect around 2 lakh eligible voters through social media platforms in each and every Lok Sabha."
With the slogan of 'Phir Se Ek Baar Modi Sarkar', social media team of party are connecting with tech savvy youngsters in Allahabad north, Allahabad South and Allahabad west assembly seats to garner support from urban voter.
