Miscreants torch college's games room

ALLAHABAD: Properties worth Rs 60,000 was gutted when some persons torched the games room of Daulat Hussain Inter College near Gadiwantola in Khuldabad on Sunday.
The incident came to notice when some players along with coach Saleem Ahmed reached the college on Sunday morning. The coach then informed the school authorities and the police about the incident.
Saleem Ahmed told TOI that cricket kits, grass cutter machine, motor pipe and other equipment were set afire by the miscreants. He, however, feigned ignorance about the reason behind the incident.
Khuldabad police said the miscreants had intentionally targeted the games room. The police have detained three persons regarding the incident.
