Shuklapur Kacha
village, was found murdered near
Loni
river under the limits of
Jethwara
police station of Pratapgarh district on Monday morning.
His family members told police that the victim, who owned a saw mill, had left his house on Sunday at around 9pm, telling them that he would be returning within 10 minutes. However, when he did not return, his family members made attempts to search for him and came to know about his tragic end on Monday morning.
Initial police investigations claimed that the killers had used an axe to eliminate the saw mill owner. His family members have named one
Vikas of the same village with whom the deceased had an old enmity.
Police said that investigations are being carried out and the body has been sent for post-mortem examination. The police were also scanning the call details of the deceased.
