ELURU: More than 300 students fell ill in the last 10 days in IIIT, Nuzvid in the Eluru district as students complained of stomach aches and vomiting.

The primary cause for the food-related problems is believed to be lack of cleanliness in the hostel kitchen. Four doctors, who are in the institution, are currently treating the students.

District medical and health department authorities are assisting the doctors in the institution.

The family members of the students are accusing the management of negligence.

Meanwhile, the management announced that a committee has been constituted to inquire into the matter.
