Farmer, 48, killed over land dispute in Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit

A 48-year-old farmer was allegedly killed over a land dispute in the Simra Akbarganj village under the jurisdiction of Bisalpur Kotwali police station. Vinod Kumar, the victim's son, said Chhote Lal was found lying near a field with deep wounds on his face and neck around 7 pm on Wednesday.

PILIBHIT: A 48-year-old farmer was allegedly killed over a land dispute in the Simra Akbarganj village under the jurisdiction of Bisalpur Kotwali police station.
Vinod Kumar, the victim's son, said Chhote Lal was found lying near a field with deep wounds on his face and neck around 7 pm on Wednesday.
The CO of Bisalpur, Manoj Kumar Yadav, said Lal had a dispute with two men related to the ownership of the land."The absconding accused - identified as Itendra Kumar and Virendra Kumar - have been booked under IPC section 302, said SHO Praveen Kumar.
