Vansh Kaur, mother of Sukhjeet, is upset after receiving the notice. She said Ramandeep's parents are not concerned about the children. She said that when Sukhjeet died, Ramandeep's parents were in India but they didn't come to meet the kids and went back to the UK on September 3.

A notice issued by a London court was recently served to Vansh Kaur and her daughter Kulwinder Kaur Turna for the hearing of a case regarding the custody of the children. The UK court has ordered them to ensure that the children and respondent are present during the hearing on October 1, and a decision on the children's custody will be taken by the court after the hearing.

The notice was served by advocate Sukhwinder Singh on behalf of a London court. Sukhwinder Singh practices in Chandigarh High Court and he is representing the parents of

Ramandeep

Kaur — Paul Singh Mann and his wife, Amarjeet Kaur.

TOI spoke to the family of Sukhjeet and asked about their reaction on this issue. Sukhjeet's elder sister Kulwinder said, "We had requested the parents of Ramandeep to come and attend the final rituals of Sukhjeet but they didn't come. They never bothered to speak to their grandchildren when they needed the most. Now, their only motive is to distract our attention from Sukhjeet's murder case so that their daughter can go scot-free. Arjun is the main witness in the murder case."
