Bengaluru: City-based Bharatiya Samagana Sabha will hold its annual classical music festival at Chowdiah Hall from Feb 22-25.
Vocalists
Mahesh Kale (Hindustani), Sandeep Narayan (Carnatic), Ramakrishnan Murthy (Carnatic) and Ranjani-Gayatri (Carnatic duet), Shubhendra Rao-Suma Sudhindra (sitar-veena), Sooryagayathri (vocal), Jagadeesh Kurthkoti (percussion ensemble), Anirban Roy (flute) and Vaishali (lecture demonstration) will perform.
There will be three concerts every day, starting at 4.45pm, on the theme, Kashi Svara Shankara. Former RBI deputy governor Shyamala Gopinath will honour violin maestros Mysore Nagaraj and Mysore Manjunath with an award on Feb 25. TNN
