BHOPAL: Minister of tourism, culture and religious trust and endowment Usha Thakur will participate in "Buddha Bhoomi India - Journey along the Footsteps of Buddha," organised in Thailand from August 26.

Thakur will also participate in tourism roadshows organised in Malaysia and Cambodia where she will invite tourists from these countries to visit major places of Buddhism in the state.

Meet on Buddha will be at the Emquartier Shopping Centre in Bangkok from August 26 to August 28 August, wherein there will be discussion about cultural ideological brainstorming and tourism related activities of both the countries. She will invite tourists to visit important Buddhist tourist places like Sanchi, Vidisha, Gyaraspur, Udayagiri, Satdhara Sunari and Andher, Murelkhurd. Culture minister will also participate in tourism roadshows in Kuala Lumpur and Phnompenh and motivate tour operators to include these sites in their tour.
