Allowance of home guards raised

Bhubaneswar: The govt on Tuesday increased the daily duty call-up allowance (DCA) dof home guards, revising it from Rs 639 to Rs 650. “The hike will take effect retrospectively from Jan 1, 2026. The chief minister had raised the DCA from Rs 623 to Rs 639 in Jan 2025,” said a statement from the CMO.
