2 arrested for raping woman at beauty parlour in Bhubaneswar

BHUBANESWAR: Two persons were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly raping a woman at a beauty parlour in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar, police said.The accused, a 51-year-old beauty parlour owner and his 52-year-old staff member, were apprehended after the woman lodged a complaint at Khandagiri police station.According to police, the accused allegedly lured the woman with the promise of a job at the beauty parlour and later sexually assaulted her.A police officer said the victim's medical examination has been conducted and an investigation is underway.(With PTI inputs)
