2 murders in Amritsar: Man hacked to death, youth shot & body dumped on road

Amritsar: Two murders were reported within just hours in Amritsar on Thursday. While a youth was shot dead in Pura, a man was hacked to death near Bohdu Pul.In the first incident, David Masih, a resident of Tarn Taran, was allegedly attacked by several persons near Bohdu Pul.Police suspect the murder was linked to a personal dispute. Masih sustained severe injuries to his neck and chest and later died during treatment at a hospital.Police said CCTV footage from both locations was being examined and raids were underway to arrest the accused.In the second incident, a youth, who is yet to be identified, was allegedly shot dead on May 13 night. According to police, the accused allegedly placed the body on a scooter and dumped it outside a house. He later informed the police that the deceased had attacked him.However, CCTV footage showed the accused transporting the body, following which a murder case was registered. The accused is on the run.
