NEW DELHI: A 55-year-old man allegedly died by suicide at his residence in west Delhi's Rajouri Garden on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Sandeep Bhardwaj, secretary of Aam Aadami Party's trade wing in Delhi and owner of Bhardwaj Marbles, police said.

During inquiry, cops found that the victim had hanged himself at his residence and was taken to the hospital by his friend. Party convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted: "Extremely saddened by the sudden death of AAP worker Sandeep Bhardwaj. May God give his soul a place at his holy feet."
