Fire breaks out at furniture market in Central Delhi
NEW DELHI: A fire broke out at a furniture market in Central Delhi's Nabi Karim area early Saturday morning, officials reported. The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) received a call about the fire at 3:20am, and seven fire tenders were deployed to the location.
It took four hours for the fire personnel to control the blaze. No injuries were reported in the incident. Items including furniture and other wooden articles were destroyed in the fire.According to an official from DFS, the fire is believed to have been caused by a short circuit.
