NEW DELHI: Days after a newborn was abducted by a woman posing as a nurse in Rao Tularam Hospital in southwest Delhi, the district police have arrested two women in the case.
The accused have been identified as Sarita (40) and Sonia (35). The three-day-old child had gone missing from the ward on December 26 and an FIR was registered. "After a tip-off, local intelligence was generated about the woman and a team led by ACP Najafgarh Jagjit Sangwan raided her house.

They found a baby in the house. On verification, it was found to be the same child," said DCP (southwest) Suman Goyal said.
During interrogation, Sarita confessed to have kidnapped the child. She told the police that she can't have her own child and so decided to kidnap the baby, along with her accomplice, Sonia.
