"We have freezed the electoral roll and the Tripura state election commission would not be able to send us the requests for corresponding deletion of Bru voters through ERONet," Pachuau said.
He said that in the ongoing intensive revision of the state voters' lists, the draft electoral roll would be published on Wednesday while the final publication of the electoral roll has been scheduled to be completed on January 13 next year.
The Mizoram election department has so far deleted 1,992 (1899 deleted from corresponding requests received through ERONet and 93 from Scanned copy (1899+93) names of Bru voters to date.
While the Tripura SEC officials seemed to have enrolled over 5,000 Bru voters, the receipt of request for corresponding deletion through the ERONet was relatively slow.
