Ankita Amar inaugurated ‘Vrittant', a two-day state-level youth festival organised by KLE Society's College of Business Administration (BBA) at the Jirge Hall at JN Medical College here on Friday. More than 2,000 students from various PU colleges of Hubballi, Dharwad, Vijaypur, Jamakhandi, Chikodi, Nippani, Khanapur, and Mahalingpur participated in over 40 competitions, including debate, cooking, dance, fashion show, poetry recitation, stand-up comedy, singing, and quiz.
In her inaugural speech, Ankita said, "Everybody is unique in this world. We need to introspect ourselves; nobody will give us an opportunity. It is necessary to know one's strength and create opportunities for ourselves." She advised the participants that study is also important alongside co-curricular activities. If one can balance both, then the mind becomes mature. Through a mature mind, a person becomes more creative," she said.
‘Vrittant' youth fest was presided over by Dr Prakash Kadakol, joint secretary, and KLE's College of Business Administration (BBA) Lingaraj College Campus, Belagavi. Dr Vibha Hedge, IQAC Coordinator, was present.
