Belagavi city witnessed an electrifying Sunday morning as the final episode of ‘Happy Streets,' organised by The Times of India and sponsored by Bhima Gold, unfolded on Mahatma Phule Road. Marking the culmination of three consecutive weeks of fun and fitness, the event drew an enthusiastic crowd, turning the street into a vibrant hub of activities.Over the past three Sundays, Happy Streets transformed Belagavi's Mahatma Phule Road into a haven of recreation and wellness. The final event was no exception, with one side of the road cordoned off to create a safe, car-free zone for citizens to enjoy. From fitness enthusiasts to families, children, and senior citizens, people of all age groups participated in various engaging activities, making it a perfect weekend retreat.The event featured a range of activities catering to different interests. Fitness lovers had an energetic start to the morning with yoga and Zumba sessions, where instructors guided participants through relaxing stretches and high-energy dance routines. The rhythmic beats of Zumba infused a lively vibe, encouraging people to groove along and embrace the joy of movement.For those seeking nostalgia and traditional fun, classic games like snakes and ladders, carrom, puzzles, and buckets and balls were arranged. These simple yet engaging activities, along with interactive games organised by Tarang Studio, created an atmosphere filled with laughter and excitement. Additionally, the hula hoop, martial arts exhibition, and dress design drew large crowds.Beyond being just a recreational event, Happy Streets became a space for social interaction and community bonding. Families enjoyed spending quality time together, young participants made new friends, and senior citizens relived their childhood by participating in various activities.
