Hyderabad: In a major administrative reshuffle following the creation of a new commissionerate and reorganisation of policing zones, the statev govt transferred and posted 20 IPS officers across the four city police commissionerates.
According to GO No. 38 issued by the general administration department on Wednesday, key changes were made across Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Malkajgiri and the newly-formed Future City commissionerate.
In the Hyderabad commissionerate, joint commissioner of police (law and order) Tafseer Iqbal was posted as additional CP (law and order), south range, overseeing Shamshabad, Golconda, Rajendranagar and Charminar zones.
N Swetha, deputy CP, detective department, was appointed joint CP (law and order), north range, covering Jubilee Hills, Khairatabad and Secunderabad zones. SM Vijay Kumar, CP, Siddipet, was posted as joint CP, Special Branch, Hyderabad.
Several DCP-level transfers were also ordered. Rakshitha K Murthy was posted as DCP, Secunderabad zone; Khare Kiran Prabhakar as DCP, Charminar zone; K Shilpavalli as DCP, Khairatabad zone; S Sreenivas as DCP, Rajendranagar zone; G Chandra Mohan as DCP, Golconda zone; A Ramana Reddy as DCP, Jubilee Hills zone; and B Rajesh was retained as DCP, Shamshabad zone.
In the Cyberabad commissionerate, N Koti Reddy was posted as DCP, Qutubullapur zone; Ritiraj as DCP, Kukatpally zone; and Ch Srinivas as DCP, Serilingampally zone.
The Future City ommissionerate saw K Narayana Reddy posted as DCP, Maheshwaram zone; Yogesh Goutam as DCP, Chevella zone; and Ch Sirisha as DCP, Shadnagar zone.
In the Malkajgiri police commissionerate, K Suresh Kumar was posted as DCP, Uppal zone; B Anuradha as DCP, LB Nagar zone; and Ch Sridhar as DCP, Malkajgiri zone.
The only officer moved out of the city was Sadhana Rashmi Perumal, DCP north zone, Hyderabad, who was posted as CP, Siddipet, replacing Vijay Kumar.
