Mother, son suffocate to death in Hyderabad's posh locality
HYDERABAD: A 37-year-old woman and her son suffocated to death due to smoke from the charcoal fire which they had lit to keep themselves warm in Hyderabad on Wednesday night.
The incident happened at the city's posh
The cold wave this season has so far claimed 18 lives in Telangana. Andhra Pradesh has also witnessed 20 deaths due cold weather conditions this year.

The news has gotten the matter all wrong! Chances are they did not suffocate from the charcoal fumes, for such a thing would have made them flee from their room, and not succumb to it. Chances are they were suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning, which is a deadly silent by product of charcoal burning in an ill ventilated room. Most of the servant/watchman''s quarters do not have proper ventilation, and this is probably what had happened.Read allPost comment
